About
Ryan is a skilled Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselling
Ryan has a Master of Counselling (MC) degree from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) degree from University of Victoria.
Ryan brings experience working with non-profit and community counselling agencies including integrated health teams, and in private practice. Ryan has also been a peer mentor, panelist, speaker, presenter and group facilitator for (Dis)ability support and empowerment as well as being a new patient host with BC Cancer.
This experience paired with Ryan’s identity as a proud (Dis)abled, and chronically ill advocate, that resides in lək̓ʷəŋən territory (Victoria BC) forms how Ryan creates an informed, intersectional, compassionate and empathetic counselling space.
